乐山大佛是世界著名的景观，被列入《世界遗产名录》的文化与自然双重遗产。山上茂林修竹终年葱茏，山下三江汇聚，舟船点点，水光接天，俨然一幅天然画卷，享有西南山水之冠的美誉，为历代文人墨客所咏赞。凌云山文物古迹丰富，历代名人题咏遍山皆是。1991年入选“中国旅游胜地四十佳”。
